I had the privilege of teaming up with author Annette Bridges for the second time on a “Lady & Bella” project, this time for an alphabet themed kid’s cookbook!

This unique, interactive book features a colorable story at the beginning that continues Lady & Bella’s friendship lessons as well as important kitchen and cooking safety tips. The cookbook portion includes 26 kid-friendly recipes that were tested and reviewed by real kids across the country (and beyond)! I handled the illustrations and page layouts for the entire book, as well as the cover design.

It was an absolute joy to work on another Lady & Bella project with Annette! I hope the book inspires kids everywhere to become cooks in their own kitchens – cooking is such an important life skill! My own 4 year old son had a chance to enjoy the process of being a test cook and I can affirm that he thoroughly enjoyed following the recipe and seeing (and tasting) the final product.
