I painted a custom watercolor house portrait for a local family looking to document their parent’s beloved Vermont family home. The parents were planning to sell the house (their dream home) this year and the whole process was very bittersweet.  Using high resolution photos the family provided, I made sure to include the special details they wanted to remember – the wildflowers sprinkled around the perimeter of the home, the Adirondack chairs on the front lawn, the American flag hanging by the garage, etc. I always feel honored to preserve someone’s special home in a custom painting or drawing: there are so many emotions & memories wrapped up inside of each home.

The painting size is 8×10″ and I included a white matte for a framing size of 11×14″.
