It was my pleasure to create the illustrations for an adorable children’s story written by my client’s spouse many years ago. She wanted to surprise him on their upcoming wedding anniversary with his story as an illustrated children’s book, in the style of Beatrix Potter. He wrote the story as a sequel to the Flopsy Bunnies story when their oldest child was just a baby, and it was later typed up by his son and tucked away by his wife.

We decided to pair the story with 6 illustrations and format it in a pocket-sized 7×7″ square format. As a huge Beatrix Potter fan myself, it was gratifying to illustrate in the style of Potter, entering her world of rabbits, English gardens and the infamous Mr. McGregor.
